Application Support Engineer: Telecommunications
Employment Equity position:
To provide 24/7 technical support for bulk messaging (SMS) application - Value Added Services (VAS).
Troubleshooting, customization, enhancements and support.
REQUIRED SKILL SETS
A completed relevant bachelor’s degree or 3-year National diploma.
3 - 5 years’ experience providing Application / Technical Support of VAS (Value Added Services) systems, more specifically SMMP, USSD, SMS etc.
Must have solid experience in supporting or administrating MS Windows.
Technical exposure should include MS SQL Server and Linux.
Ideal if the individual has been exposed to supporting Messaging Systems / Applications (Telecommunications).
