INTRODUCTION
Responsible for providing innovative and omni-platform business intelligence (BI) subject matter expertise and leadership through partnering with Finance on their reporting and analytic initiatives.
Work closely with key stakeholders, collect requirements, and produce deliverables in the form of reports, dashboards (visualisations), or recommend metrics and calculated variables within raw datasets that will be used to drive business decisions at a strategic, operational and divisional level.
Develop BI service offerings, demonstrates thought leadership, manages complex projects, builds client relationships, recruits, and mentors staff, and collaborates with cross-functional teams.
REQUIRED SKILL SETS
A completed Bachelor's Degree or 3-5 years' experience in configuring, designing and building complex visualizations and dashboards is a minimum requirement.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in data visualisation and business intelligence with specific experience within risk, financial and statistical analysis.
4+ years’ experience leading BI teams.
At least 5 years of experience in a position monitoring, managing, manipulating and drawing insights from data, and at least 3 years of experience leading a team.
Strong numeracy and algebraic skills is essential.
Ability to simultaneously manage large projects and manage rapid delivery of requests
Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
Strong experience with Excel, Power BI, and DAX.
Expertise in the research, development, and support of data visualization techniques
Must be available to work overtime when required.
